Christmas Eve Party 2020
Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, Christmas Eve Party 2020 moved across the street from McKinney Park to Clermont Elementary School student drop off loop that allowed for better social distancing. This year's party was sponsored by Christian Men in Action and Clermont Police Department. With contributions from Lincoln Park Rams Motorcycle Club, Christmas Across South Lake, Kathy Weaver, Sherman & Celestine Wilder, New Jacob's Chapel MBC, NJC Family Matters, NJC Senior Saints, Give a Day Foundation, DJ Dwayne Hodges, and the many individual volunteers from the community, Christian Men in Action and Clermont Police Department were able to provide some Christmas happiness to about 150 less fortunate children.

Christian Men in Action and Clermont Police Department teamed up again this year to provide toys to less fortunate kids. It was another successful year and many thanks goes to Lake County Sheriff Department, New Jacob's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Unity Church of Clermont, Lincoln Park Motorcycle Club, New Jacob's Chapel Male Chorus, The Boys Scout, Revival, and many individuals for donating toys. Without their donations the event would not have been successful.

Battle of the Badges is a benefit game with a two fold purpose. First it provide an evening of competitive basketball between Clermont Police and Lake County Sheriffs. Second benefit is the collection of toys as the entrance fee is an unwrapped toy. The toys are donated to Christian Men in Action for distribution to less fortunate children on Christmas Eve. This year marked the game's fifth year and Christian Men in Action is very grateful for the contribution of both of these law enforcement agencies.

"Kick-it-Off"
Christian Men in Action and Clermont Police Department teamed up in 2008 to provide youth a day of food and fun as a means to say thanks for an outstanding school year while promoting a safe, crime, and drug free summer. In addition to youth a day of fun it allowed youths to interact with the police in friendly environment without fear of the police. Recognizing immediate results and benefits of respect for police, reduction in minor mischief, and more open communication with police from youths, "Kick-it-Off" is now an annual event.
